I think people here get as invested with their Pthumerians as they do with the dieties in my world. They kind of get some of the books that talked about them and then sort of wing it.
For here, shouldn't it be Mariana that has the problem with it if it's such a big deal?

To be fair, Mariana DID kinda trash the town for most of July because she was so pissed...

I think with all the bad things happening to us during the month, it's easier to blame them rather than see them as just being a cause of nature that is part of the balance of this world.
I agree with that too. We are a part of this world, and so are they. We're just not as, well, god-like as them, so it feels like we get hit with the effects more than they do.
